It's chilly again, but...not as chilly as last weekend and...the sun is going to shine!
I will say, however, you know it's going to be a good weekend when you walk into the trailer and find this guy hanging out!
Not sure what went on here last Sunday (I was off on an adventure elsewhere), but this guy has dried grass on his person so it had to be wild.
I believe D'Angelo will be joining us again this weekend. Â As you may or may not know, he was stranded in Florida last weekend (during all the rainy frigid weather) due to truck troubles.
It's Pirate Christmas weekend and I can't wait to see all the Pirate Lads and Lasses invade the village in style. Â Here's the official notice from the CRF website:

It's foolish pleasures and pirate's treasures! Special Pirate Entertainment scheduled all weekend long! Start your Holiday shopping early and save at the Fairhaven Village Marketplace! Purchase $200 or more in festival arts & crafts and receive two FREE $22 Renaissance Festival Tickets valid for the remaining two weekends of this 2014 season (one offer per person)! Dress as your favorite scurrrrvy dog and win prizes in the Pirate's Costume Contests held at 2:30 PM at the The Haven (next to the Joust Arena). Separate contests will be held for adults and children. Prizes will be awarded.

Apologies for not posting earlier. Â Festival day connection issues, ya know. Â Any how...it is now 5:00 pm and I'm sure the R-Rated show is starting up as I type this. Â Fun day? Â You betcha! Â Lots of Pirates out and about...some of them very tiny and very cute. We even have a Father Christmas among us.
