Dear J, last Thursday we celebrated Sharon's birthday. It's actually on the 29th but we decided to do it on Thursday since we were gonna leave for Charlotte on Monday the 29th. We also kinda considered it a wrap party for our video shoots for Tortugapalooza since we invited all the crew from 3rd Hemisphere Productions. Just in case you didn't know 3rd Hemisphere Productions is the company we hired to do all the video production for Tortugpalooza. They also shot the Swordfighting and Stupidity DVD footage. They're a great bunch that we consider almost family after all the projects we've done together. Anyway, Sharon and I are big "Friends" fans.
*FYI* I love sitcoms! I'm kind of a television junky. Sharon loves all the same TV shows as me but has added a few ABC soaps to the mix. I try not to get sucked in but when there's nothing else to watch during the day I get sucked in too. We're gonna be really bummed when "Friends" leaves the air this year. Thanks god we still have "Will and Grace".
Anyway, since "Friends" season debut was the same night as the party, we decided to bring in a video projector and show the episode on a big screen. What a blast! The screen was great and everyone had a wonderful time. Sharon got some great gifts and several bottles of wine. And Eva brought what might be the best cake I've ever had in my life. A big thanks to Lisa, Dave, Sarina, Amanda, Shane, Cheryl, all the gang from 3rd Hemisphere and the boys of course for making this a great celebration. I'm so glad that September is over. There's way too many September babies in my life. It makes for a very drunken month and totally drains my bank account. Damn all our parents for getting some after the company x-mas party.
