Minnesota is going along well. The crowds never cease to amaze me. There’s a lot going on in my life and I figured it was time to let you in on some of it. It is my birthday month after all.
So, as you may have figured out, I have a new lady in my life. Her name is Jessica. We met a couple of years ago in Minnesota. We’ve been casual friends but after the demise of my previous relationship she became a drinking buddy, confidant, and shoulder to cry on. We really got along well, but neither of us really thought anymore of it than that.
Then came spring of 2012… After keeping in touch via email and phone calls I started to realize I missed having her around. A private show that the boys and I did in Minnesota afforded me the chance to visit her long before the Minnesota fair. There was now no denying the attraction. It was hard to leave Minnesota this time I can tell you!
After ending my marriage I expected to be a single guy for a very long time if not forever. But, apparently the universe had other plans for me. Not only had I found someone but I was falling in love?! WTF!!! I figured it had to be some kind of rebound but every part of my being told me this was the real deal. Awesome.
Let me tell you, when the universe drops an amazing soul in your life don’t look the other way. You may not get a second chance. Thankfully I did. It’s said that you find love when you least expect it. Amen to that!
But our little story isn’t over yet. A couple weeks after one of my visits to see her in Minnesota I got a text saying she really needed to talk to me. I stepped out of a meeting cuz it sounded important. I’ll give you one guess as to what she said next… Yup, she was pregnant.
After a couple moments of manic silence I said “ok… wow.†We were both a bit freaked since we took every precaution to prevent this type of event. Moments later I got a picture message from her portraying three positive pregnancy texts. There was no disputing that! LOL
So, the next day I flew to Minnesota to discuss our next move. Of course we discussed terminating the pregnancy but the more we talked about it, the worse we felt. Something inside both of us knew this was somehow supposed to happen. The choice was clear. We were gonna be parents!! And damn, were we excited!

Well, I did get to have a great birthday celebration. I got to hang out with some friends over dinner and drinks. I went to a strip club with some friends and my pregnant girlfriend. (LOL) And, we had a nice romantic night in an amazing hotel. It just keeps getting better.
Our last event in Minnesota is always our Fan Club Meet and Greet. Much like most of our fairs, it’s just before the last weekend. The Meet and Greets in MN have been so much fun. I can’t say thank you enough to all our fans out there. Food, drinks, bowling and friends make for a fun night! You guys are the best!
With the end of the 2012 Minnesota season it was time to set sail for North Carolina. This would be the first big trip in our new RV. Wish us luck!!!
