Favorite Sound of Color: Blue
Pahl found his passion for performance and exhibitionism relatively late in life, but the spark was there, already glowing, as early as his infant years. He was born already way too tall in a small suburb of Los Angeles, and his family quickly realized they needed to get him out of there before he became a globe-trotting, gallivanting Pirate. Or a Crip or Blood, your choice. They packed up and quickly moved to Florida, so that Pahl could sweat out any possibility of the temptation to perform in the taint of the great USA. He can call it the Taint because it's his hometown. So there.
However, as a college-aged gigolo on the warm, soft streets of Tampa, Florida, the flame was re-kindled at the University of South Florida. Pahl became close friends and part of the group that birthed Hat Trick Theatre Productions. Pahl continues to serve their Production Manager, and they put on several shows a season as the resident theatre company of Ruth Eckerd Hall's Murray Studio Theatre in Clearwater, Florida. Pahl often stars in their shows and builds their sets. He is very good with his hands.
As a child, Pahl was a Boy Scout. He rose in height as well as rank, eventually becoming a 6-foot-6 Eagle Scout. His baby sister Thomas did the same, and their family is active in the Order of the Arrow to this day. Pahl has taught at many national leadership training courses, and has been an acting teacher, public speaker, performer, and leadership coach around the USA. When he isn't wearing yellow and black velvet in the woods, Pahl actually tries to be a good role-model, but don't tell the Daddy Tortugas that.
His love for Renaissance festivals started once he realized that if he got a job working with his sister at the pub she owned, he could drink for free. After two years of getting drunk and yelling clever puns and innuendo on a pub bench, it was a simple lateral career move to getting drunk and yelling clever puns and innuendo on a stage. He is forever grateful to Bryan for encouraging him to audition, and also to Riki, Ronn, & Jef for the support, love, and interesting guidance.
He's tall, he's handsome, and you can climb him like a tree. Come up and say hi whenever you want, the hugs are amazing.
