But too damn bad, 'cause I think they're funny.
Ok, I said I'd be late and I said it'd be about the dungeon. Well both are true. I type this little bit o' text as I sit at the dining room table of a friend's house in Asheville, NC. It's an incredible house on the side of a mountain with an incredible view. But that's a story for another time.
The Dungeon Museum is something we've been concocting for quite some time now. We also have plans for another attraction, but we'll keep that a secret 'til it's ready to debut. Basically, the dungeon museum is just what it implies, a museum of dungeon life complete with all the wonderfultorture instruments through the ages.
Construction started around July and continued through August and September. Once we finished the Minnesota show we moved on to Charlotte. We spent every week in Louisiana and then the weekends performing in Charlotte. It was a grueling schedule, but we realized if we didn't get involved in the construction it would never be completed in time. So, on Sunday evenings we'd drive overnite to the job site to work all week and then return on Friday to do our shows in North Carolina. It nearly killed us, but we made it through and got the beast open just in time for LARF's opening day. Now we just have to sit back and see how people like it.
