I've been going back and forth on this journal for days now, trying to figure out exactly what I want to put in it. It's tough 'cuz I don't have any real stories to tell. I just have a mélange of pictures and a few highlights. I thought I might actually do an audio journal and let you guys listen to my journal for a change. Cool idea, but I think I'll save that for a future project.
The other problem I'm dealing with is that I'm in the midst of transferring from one computer to another. So, I have stuff scattered over two machines and still have pictures on both my old camera and my new camera. Geez... No wonder I'm behind.
All right, enough excuses... onto the loot!
This season has been plagued with rain but Sharon always looked good and our kite girl Rachel always worked her butt off in Minnesota.

We got to hang out with the guys from TSOH (Ten Seconds Of Harmony) a lot this year. They took us to this really cool German restaurant [Scenes from a German Restaurant - Windows Media / RealMedia]. What a blast! They made quite a splash at Palooza Minnesota and they'll be a great addition to the DVD.

Before a Palooza we always have a pre-show cast get together. Since everyone has to fly out so quickly after the show, we can't really do a wrap party. This time we had it at The Mediterranean Cruise restaurant. They have belly dancers [Watch the in-house dancer - AVI file] and awesome food! We got our girls up on stage with the house dancer [Our girls show off - AVI file]. What a show!

Palooza rehearsals went very smoothly. As a matter of fact this show has run more smoothly that any we've ever done. Thank God! I actually had time to do a proper light design for the DVD. It's gonna look cool! But I have to give credit to our minions. For without them none of this would be possible. Early test footage indicates that this is gonna be our best DVD yet. And, it's in letterbox format!

The after-party was a great success! We had a huge turnout for it. Eighty to ninety percent of our audience had to be there and Café Lurcat really rolled out the red carpet with great food and ambience.

Once we got to Charlotte we settled into our camping spots. After last year I had to remove part of the fence to get out since my trailer is so big. Parking the trailer this year was a breeze without the fence in the way, but we had to replace it once we were set up. Look! Tortugas with power tools!

Finally, we're in Charlotte! It's the home of Nascar and Concord Mills, one of our favorite Malls. We'll never be able to explain it but the Nascar crowd really loves us. This is one of the locations we enjoy the most celebrity status. I can't wait to see all my Carolinian friends! Also on the horizon, my favorite holiday... Halloween!
