Hey everyone- it’s been a blast this season getting to meet everyone and have great times. Just this past month saw me perform in Carolina and Sarasota! Wild crowds. I got a new truck, started back up over at the Children’s theatre, and got to see the family for Thanksgiving. The truck ran out of gas on the way back from Sarasota- thanks in part to some poor math skills and a dead gas gauge.

Thanksgiving with Rebecca’s and my folks was awesome. And on the front end- Halloween. I was coming back from Boston, with a stop in Newark to stay to I could go to New York. Got a nice hotel thanks to Alison from the Ariel Angels, then got a crappy ass hotel the next night by my own hand. New York is different now. Not the place I fell in love with back in the late 90’s. It’s clean… it’s nice… kinda like a bigger Disney with drunk people and hookers. But all in all, had a damn good time there before driving right home and jumping into makeup. I was a Sugar Skull this year, complete with guitar!
Now I’m starting to gear up for the holidays- lucky for me one of my other jobs picked me up- If You Take a Mouse to the Movies- by CTC. (A little story bout ‘Boy and Mouse’.) I’m backstage again, pushing trees and cleaning Mylar. During this time I held auditions for my next show- Reservoir Dogs. It’s the hardest auditions I have ever had as a director. I’ve been having trouble casting- not from lack of people… but from the fact I have too much talent auditioning. I hate to lose those folks cause I didn’t cast them, but that’s theatre. I’m actually sitting here taking a break- the first I‘ve had in days, to write this so I can further reflect on the show. And that’s about it here at the end of the month… I’ll fill all you tortugaholics in on the holidays soon! You know I’m gonna be drunk and merry with Christmas spirits!
Till next time!
