Oklahoma was a blast. It took us a week and a half to find our “feet.” But in the end I think we figured out how to make us work at this show. Every was telling us what a difficult stage we were on for gathering a crowd. The silent hawk on the street was barely working. When Jon and I would get on stage to start the cheers, we were always wondering “Are going to have to fall back to a cleaned up Sword Show?” The audience was that thin. But five minutes into the stage cheers we had them... and they would just keep coming throughout the show.

We also shared the stage with a great couple of guys, The Jester Rejects. A lot of fun, both on and off the stage. At one point playing Statler and Woldorf to our Kermit, Fozzy, and Gonzo.
Oklahoma also has three or four sanctioned after-hours parties that patrons are invited to. A Masked Ball, A Feast, and a Celtic celebration. We caught two of the three and had a surprisingly good time.
