I must apologize for my lack of attention to the fan club web site. All of my being has been dedicated to the completion of Tortugapalooza 2: Spies.
It's been two weeks since we completed the first installment of this year's 'Palooza tour. I'm still stressed out and unhappy. I don't know if anyone understands the work that goes into a production of this nature. After a year of writing, filming, editing, rehearsing, it's over in only three hours. I so looked forward to some down time. Instead I find myself still working and booking and preparing for a new show I just landed in Seattle. It's the weekend of June 17-19th; a weekend that was supposed to be an off week for us.
Don't get me wrong, I am a self-proclaimed workaholic but I do look forward to time off like the rest of us. I just have trouble forcing myself to take it. Now I'm not looking for any pity. I just wanted to vent a little and give you all a sincere apology for my lack of journal entries. On top of all of this, I'm currently in Atlanta and my computer is still in Florida. We flew back from Florida to get back to Atlanta after 'Palooza and left a car down there so I had no way to transport my tower. I'll get it in ten days when I go to FL to retrieve my car. So I'm typing this entry on a friend's computer over a booth at the Ga. Ren. Fest. on a faire day.
Alright, enough of my bellyaching. I just want to let you know that I have been taking pictures and trying to have a life interesting enough to warrant a journal entry. I just don't have the time or the drive or the computer (for that matter) to post a decent journal update. I promise when we get out of Georgia and get to Ohio, I'll have my computer and I'll get back to work on posting some fun pictures and some journals worth reading.
Until then I'm gonna sit quietly in my padded room, relax, drink a beer or two (or twenty) try to catch up on some movies and spend some quality time with my wife. And if all goes well, happy go lucky Jef will return in June with fun stories of joy and mirth (whatever mirth is).
Thanks for your continued support and love to all,
-Jef-
