Time to play catch up! -  It's September 20^th as I write this... 3 months after the fact. I've been so busy working on mastering the DVD and preparing for Palooza Minnesota, I've gotten very behind on my journals. I'm gonna try to catch you up, but since there's so much to cover, I'm gonna cover just the more exciting events.

June was mostly a time to chill at home. With the only real stop this month being Iowa, that left us time to enjoy Deane Laseter and Liz Minick's wedding. Deane plays Johnny Phoenix at many festivals around the country. You may know him as the evil Dr. Victor Rhea of Tortugapalooza 2: Spies.

Iowa was mostly uneventful. It was very hot and sticky but we didn't get any scary tornado weather like we have in the past. As always the people were very receptive to us. The shows went smoothly and we made some money. I can't believe how well we do selling DVDs and T-shirts at this little show. No matter how much we bring, we sell it all.

Ronn also brought his new fiancée Heather along to Iowa. She sold our merchandise after the shows and since sales were up, I'm glad we had her there. The only other notable happening at Iowa was Ronn's little digestive issue. Hopefully he's written about it; it's quite a funny story.

After returning to Florida, we set course for Orlando for Deane's wedding. As a wedding present I offered to be the wedding photographer. They accepted as they had already spent a fortune (like ya do) and I was cash poor myself. It was the perfect arrangement.

Their wedding was lovely, although a little hot. They had it in Florida at 3 in the afternoon in June. -OUCH!- But it was the only time everyone could make it and the lovely arboretum was available.

The pictures came out spectacularly! Deane and Liz were thrilled. I'm amazed at the quality of picture you can get from a digital camera. And, you can do it without spending a lot of money.

Well, that's it... short and sweet. But that's all that really happened that month. Next up, July, which means Ohio and our trip to San Diego for the International Comic-Con.
