My mother also came down to visit my Sister and I this month. So we loaded up Jen's mini-van and drove my mother up to Grandfather mountain with the three of us, my brother in law and nephew. Man, was it busy that day. We drove up to the swinging bridge and while they all enjoyed the bridge, I took the opportunity to do a quick trail run up to the top of McRae peak. Amazingly beautiful views were to be had. After that we checked out the zoo portion of the mountain. Jacob—my nephew—enjoy the bears best I think. I enjoyed the cougars 😉
Other than that, not much else happened this month. Just a lot of cleaning up around the house and the yard. And trying to start getting ready for the Michigan Renaissance Festival. Seven weeks of performing!!! 😀
