February 2007 – The 2007 season is officially upon us!

Time to shake the bugs out and get back into the swing of things. As I type this, I'm packing for a week trip to Vegas for a little get-away for me and Sharon. I've got to get Feb. finished before I leave, 'cuz I know I'll be too busy having fun to work on it in Vegas and I promised I wouldn't get too far behind again. (I'm already 2 weeks behind.)

Every year I have to spend Valentine's Day without my lovely wife Sharon. It sucks but that's the price you pay for a career on the road. The last three years in a row I've tried sending flowers from different sources or I've sent a package with goodies to her. Each time the package has been late or hasn't arrived at all! The first couple years I had trouble convincing Sharon that I really sent the stuff. This year I promised myself it'd be different. To cover my ass I sent both a bouquet of flowers and a package. The package was sent overnight on Monday. The flowers were ordered on Monday to be delivered on Wednesday (Valentine's Day). Thank God I sent two things. The overnight package sent US Postal Service overnight on Monday didn't make it 'til Thursday! But, luckily the flowers were delivered on time Wednesday to a happy Sharon. So boys, take it from me and make sure you have your ass covered when it comes to any holiday.

As I may have mentioned in my Jan Journal, while at the NATPE convention we met some people from a company called Polar Frog. They have a line of Kiosks that burn and sell DVDs while you wait. They want to put our DVDs in their library. Coincidentally they are based in Scottsdale, a 40 minute drive from the AZ site. So, we decided to meet them for lunch and talk business and get a contract. They're a great bunch! Nick and Brittany were very accommodating and treated us to lunch. It's amazing what a small world it is. We all know quite a few of the same people and have practically crossed paths many times before. Hopefully, this business deal will pan out. It seems like a great way to get our product out in the world.

Also during February, Ronn and Heather had us over for dinner. They made steaks and potatoes with asparagus and a lovely salad. The potatoes Ronn made were as big as your head. I could only eat half of it which was fine 'cuz I got a great to-go bag for a meal later. Everything was delicious and we had a great time. It's nice to be able to socialize with the people you work with off the clock. Especially when we're together like 24-7. I'm sometimes amazed at how we've managed to get along all these years. I think we should write a book on how to keep the group alive. Maybe theBeatles would still be together with our help. : )

Other than that, we're just grinding out the days in Arizona. The weather's been great! It's just now started to get hot with the sun rearing its steamy head. I'm sure Phoenix will soon live up to its desert name. That's it for now. Wish me luck in Vegas. I'll fill you in on the trip next month!!
