Happy Birthday to Ronn! - It was Ronn�s B-Day yesterday but today were taking him out for dinner and drinks. Nothing crazy...it�s a school night (Festival day tomorrow) and were all kinda broke. So we met at his trailer to give him some gifts. Ronn�s a big CSI fan so Sharon and I gave him the third season on DVD and a new DVD case to hold his somewhat massive collection. Sharon also gave him a card with "A Girl�s Day of Shopping" and a new summer outfit.
Riki won the Birthday lottery, finding Penn and Teller�s "Bullshit" series on DVD. Ronn just flipped over that. He also gave him a really cool little gadget. A combination voice recorder/digital camera.
After the gift exchange we headed off to dinner at Johnny Carino�s. It�s kind of an Olive Garden / Carraba�s knock off. The food�s pretty good but the service that night was horrible. The kitchen staff was obviously trying to get out early so a lot of our food took too long and then at the end of the meal we were told we couldn�t have dessert. Sharon was pissed being from management in the food industry. She�s definitely gonna write them a nasty-gram.

Anyway, after dinner we were all beat from a long week of work and a long day of performances as you can see by the picture of Ronn after dinner. The Georgia show is taking a lot out of us. It�s beastly hot, terribly humid and just plain hard work. I have to face it, we�re not so used to having to create crowds now a days. We just blow our horns and they come! So, we headed home for some much deserved rest only to get up and entertain the masses the next day. "No rest for the weary!"
