Happy St. Patty�s Day! - Today we decided to go see the "Bare Naked Ladies" in concert. We heard about the concert thru a radio station we were doing a promo at. We always pick the brains of any station mgr. We meet to find out what the local "scene" is and if there�s anything interesting going on that we should be involved with or at least visit. Of course, we always try to get ourselves some free tickets or backstage passes. What�s the point of being a semi-celebrity if you don�t get to abuse your power from time to time?
We headed down to Tempe where the concert was early to make sure we could get in and try to find our radio contact. We had some time to kill so we decided to have dinner at a cool Steakhouse restaurant that used to be some kind of mill. Riki�s "date" met us there. Dinner was great! Then we headed down to the park for concert.
I love to see the Bare Naked Ladies in concert �cuz they have so much fun at their shows. They really know how to poke fun at themselves and the area they�re visiting. After the show we split up and headed home. We were beat after a long day of walking around. That�s the only downside to concerts in the park... lots of walking!
