Oct 23 - Dear J, Well, it's time for our yearly pilgrimage to "Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure" for "Halloween Horror Nights". It's a Halloween attraction that has no rival. We've gone to every year except one since it started. It's so much fun! At first it was just Sharon and I, but since then the groups have grown to as many as 22 people. On our way to the hotel room we had to stock the "car bar". We all know the party can't stop after the park closes.
The park consists of all the usual rides. (but in the dark) But adds six Haunted houses, Halloween theme shows and wandering creepy characters, like creatures and these really sexy demon girls and dancing slave women. (Sorry, the pic is kind of foggy) They close the park at like 5 and revamp everything to open at 7 for the night event. They have bars in the streets, which is very attractive to our crowd. Man, we sound like total alcoholics! (if the shoe fits.)
*FYI* I love Theme parks! I've been to them all over the country. Six flags, Busch Gardens, Cedar Point, Universal Studios, but most of all DISNEY!!! I am such a fan of the Mouse! (Mickey that is) I've actually collected some really cool memorabilia from the park, including a sign that hung on a lamppost during their 20th anniversary. God only knows what it might be worth now. My favorite parks are EPCOT and The Magic Kingdom. We love to do beers around the world at EPCOT. We'd start at Mexico and work our way around World showcase until we got to England. Of course we'd be quite happy by the time we got there. (Drunk again!) What sucks is that our tour schedule really keeps us from getting there any more. I really miss it. We're definitely gonna make it there for the holidays this year.
Anyway, after the park closed we went back to our rooms to continue the party. I can't really post any those pictures. They either were to sloppy, or might be objectionable to some of my friends that were there. Especially the naked picture I took of Amy dancing. She's probably not even aware that I took it! Anyway we've got to leave a little to your imagination. The next morning we had to drive back to Charlotte for the next weekend of CRF (Carolina Renaissance Festival). The ride sucked on the way home. NO SLEEP- HUNG OVER - RIKI SLEEPING THE WHOLE WAY HOME - ME AND SHARON DID ALL THE DRIVING " SOMEBODY SHOOT ME!"NO, SOMEBODY SHOOT RIKI! (Just kidding) But, ya know I'm gonna do it again next year!
