So sorry that I am way behind on your updates. Â A lot has happened since my last post, but one thing in particular sort of derailed me for a bit.
First I want to say that everyone was so generous to our dear Scaramouche for his birthday...and he really appreciated it! Â I couldn't believe how many gifts his fans sent to him and, let me tell you, our long-haired Tortuga was quite touched by the outpouring of love. Â If you included your mailing address, you should have received your very own personal "Thank You." Â One of the gifts is pictured below.
What self-respecting Zombie slayer wouldn't want fancy grips to look at while he's saving the world? Â Scaramouche even asked his followers on his Scaramouche Tortuga facebook page to pick which set of grips they liked the best. The Joker ones were the clear favorite, but The Watchman ones are nice too.
EXTRACURRICULAR TORTUGAS
The month of May found Scaramouche, Raphael & D'Angelo performing at two parties in Georgia and a wedding in Minnesota.  Seems some very wise people were in need of a little Tortuga humor away from the hustle and bustle of the wild Festival setting.  So...they did the smartest thing they could think of.  They hired the Tortugas for their special events.  Jealous?  Me too, but it is not unreasonable to think that you can do the same thing.  Just get a bunch of your friends to chip in and go to our booking page  to set up your own "Fun in Tights Night."  If the picture below is any indication of what goes on, all I can say is...Sign Me Up!
GEORGIA RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL
So...what is Georgia like? Â Well, it is Georgia...so it is HOT!, but it's also loads of fun. Â I would like to point out that, for the first time, the Halfwit Harbor Stage was shaded. Â If you've been to GaRF, you know that most of the audience is always shaded, but now...the stage is shaded some too. Â This is HUGE, people! Â This is FANTASTIC, people! Â Okay, maybe I'm the only one that finds this news so great, but not having the sun beating down on you or glaring in your eyes is rather nice and I do love it that the boys are a little more comfortable on stage.
With that we'll end this entry...Until next time...
Love and laughter to all.
