As I mentioned in November, I’m playing catch up after being so behind through the Holidays. I’ve looked thru my pictures and not too many things really went on at the end of 2011. All I did was design and install holiday lighting displays. Other than that, there was the usual number of holiday dinners with family and friends, and the occasional round of cocktails.
I started November with lighting displays and the Sarasota Medieval Fair. The event of note there was my tights blowout. Don’t worry, I brought an extra pair cuz I had a feeling that pair was on the way out.
December brought more light installs and the Louisiana Ren Fair. I managed to stay in my tights for that one. Sorry, no blowout.
Since there’s not a lot of details worth mentioning and I have plenty of other things to complete before setting my sights on the new season I’m just gonna give you a simple list of November and December’s events.
In November and December I;
Designed and installed Christmas lights
Drank beer
Blew out my tights!
Smoked a turkey
Smoked and roasted turkey
Watched some beautiful sunsets!
Drank on Bourbon Street with people in strange holiday garb
Enjoyed some amazing wine with some close friends!
Got to dress in a Starfleet uniform
Even better, got Sharon in a Starfleet uniform! Even better again, went to a Christmas party dressed said Starfleet uniforms!
Installed a new Central Heat and Air system in my house
Got flipped off by a fork!
Celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary!
Drank some more
Got attacked by Chapstick while breaking down holiday lights! Counted my blessings for having so many awesome people in my life!
Well, that’s it… short and sweet. It’s time to get back to the business of being a Tortuga Twin. I hope the holidays brought you everything you hoped for. I also hope you’re on track for keeping your New Year’s resolutions. It’s gonna be a bright shiny year! Let’s celebrate it together!
